One of my favorite bands to listen to while driving in the car or just jammin’ out, Chromeo, is from the great white north. This Montreal based duo rocks out in this song called “Tenderoni.”

12 second try

I launched a new project today that is just a random idea I had that hopefully will catch on. I absolutely love the website www.12seconds.tv. If you haven’t seen it yet, I suggest you check it out. It’s basically Twitter for video!
12secondtry.com on 12seconds.tv
Anyway, my site is called 12 second try (http://12secondtry.com) and utilizes the 12seconds.tv to showcase people doing ordinary, everyday tasks in a span of 12 seconds. I’m going to film myself in 12 seconds trying random tasks. The key… is going to be you!
I’m going to need both suggestions of tasks to try in 12 seconds as well as people submitting their own 12secondtry.

Song of the Week

I’ve spent a lot time listening to the newish Grizzly Bear album. I really like it and had to pick this song “Two Weeks” as the Song of the Week on johnmeyer.me. Why?
Well, when I was a freshman at Luther College I was in this really bad band called Abby Youth. We thought we were the coolest kids on campus. Anyway, the song I wrote on the album was a gut-wrenching love song titled, “Two Weeks.” If you’re lucky, maybe someday that Two Weeks will be the song of the week.
